- You went to the Aquatic Centre just for chips at least once.
- You knew Torrell Fenton was the best singer in Mandurah and it was just expected she would sing at every major town event.
- You call the bridge connecting Pinjarra Rd with Mary St the 'Old Bridge' and will continue to do so even after it is rebuilt (you have probably also gone fishing under the Old Bridge too).
- You bought donuts from Puffin' Fresh well before anyone had heard of Krisy Kreme (even better - my sister worked there for a time and used to bring home a box of leftovers after every shift!).
- You had to go all the way to Hoyts Rockingham to watch a movie.
- You had all you can eat Pizza Hut at the now Happy Chinese Barbecue (and probably had a birthday there).
- You would get discount vouchers from school for the skating rink (and had a birthday there).
- You have played mini golf where you now go to drink (Murphy's).
- You once played at the now mildly terrifying Castle Fun Park (you probably had a birthday there too).
- You and your friends made yourselves sick on the Tilt-A-Whirl at King's Carnival.
- You can not count the number of times the eastern end of Mandurah Tce has changed directions (and you remember when it was a two-way street!).
- You went to the original Brighton and Peninsula hotels (probably with your parents).
Do you have any pictures to go with the above you would like to share?
