For reasons both beyond and within my control I find myself unemployed at this point in life. Like many Gen-Y's I rely on credit and have never been fond of, or good at, budgeting.
With great intentions I moved back to Mandurah to live with my mum (what WOULD us Gen-Y’s do without being able to move back in with our parents?!) to embark on my new frugal life. But I like makeup. And wine. And eating out. Three things that were not available to me for the last three years of my life. So rather than sit at home looking like a hobbit I am going to learn to live my best life in Mandurah. The blossoming adult in me now realises ‘best’ also includes financially secure. So here goes…
